ABOUT ME

Over the past 20 years I have been very fortunate to work with many extraordinary people. From serving businesses to brides, couples to corporations, each experience has given me the opportunity to create moving images and genuine connections. During that time I have continued to learn and strengthen my skills in and passion for photography. As I've progressed through my career, I developed a love for capturing meaningful moments, beautiful places, and compelling compositions.

 

My Story

My interest in photography began well before I launched my business in 2003. My dad enjoyed photography as a hobby and often used it in his work. As a result, I was exposed to photography early on.

I've always been drawn to tinkering and creating things, and my parents supported me.  I owned my first "real" 35mm camera when I was 10 years old, and I quickly found that photography connected my creative and technical interests. Through high school and beyond, I continued cultivating my photo and video talents through local cable television productions, personal projects, and classes in advanced photography, videography, and multimedia design.

Now, as a devoted father of a young son, I understand the idea of nurturing and motivating. Constantly learning to be a better parent has also helped me be a better photographer. By taking the time to connect with you with warmth, expertise and collaboration, I am better able to create images that are thoughtful, informative, and tell a story - your story.

I'm also a member of ASMP (American Society of Media Photographers). Since 2008, my involvement in this organization has kept me connected to colleagues, friends and mentors and has provided an ongoing opportunity to stay current in this ever-changing field.
